Mr. DING, Xiaofang (Frank) is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of FountainCap responsible for overall investments, research and portfolio management. Prior to founding FountainCap, Frank was an equity analyst at Capital Research Global Investors (“CRGI”), a subsidiary of the Capital Group, between 2003 to 2014, based in Hong Kong, with research and discretionary investment responsibilities primarily focusing on software, internet and related services, oil and gas, chemicals and consumer sectors in Asia. Frank was also a China country generalist at CRGI. Prior to Capital Group, Frank was the Greater China Fund Manager at Jardine Fleming Asset Management between 1998 to 2002 in Hong Kong. Prior to returning to Hong Kong, Frank was an analyst at Manning & Napier Advisors Inc. in New York between 1994 to 1997. Before going to the US, Frank was an economic researcher at the State Planning Commission, China's top economic planning body, between 1985 to 1990. Frank received a B.S. in Management Science from University of Science and Technology of China in 1985 and an MBA from University of Rochester, USA in 1994.

Frank has been investing in Asia equities since 1994 and has experienced seven major market cycles. He has achieved consistent long-term investment results throughout this period.
